Can Not Test Traffic Exchange – Click Cafe
on October 19th, 2007 at 03:51Every now and then I’ll go through Traffic Exchanges I have in my database to see if they are working sites and if they can be added to the Traffic Exchange Exposed testing report…
Today, I was going to add Click Cafe but couldn’t for the following reasons:
- I have over 7000 pageview credits just sitting in my account doing nothing and my account at Click Cafe is suspended – Duh! It makes a whole lot of sense to suspend a member (me) that was active enough in the past to earn over 7000 pageviews – NOT!
- The website checker for all the Walker Traffic Exchange scripts seem to hang up in the middle of checking sites. I have never been able to get this to work for me on my computer. The only reason why I have a few Walker scripted exchanges on my ranking list is because the sites I have listed were listed before the Wlker script went to version 3. Which is about the same time I could not get the URL testing software to work on my computer. Maybe the script is trying to do something my security settings is not allowing – I don’t know but it does seem hokey for sure… And something everybody should be careful of. I’m not saying the script is doing something wrong, I’m just saying it is trying to do something out of the norm and everybody should keep a watchful eye peeled.
- I have confirmed today that the Walker Traffic Exchange script is a total piece of crap – Not worth using even if it was the last Traffic Exchange on earth!
- There are way to many compliant (Properly Programmed) Traffic Exchanges on the ‘net today for me to worry about joining one designed with the Walker Software… Until this software becomes more user friendly I will be passing on all Traffic Exchanges with the Walker script backend.
Do yourself a favor and run the other direction, not walk away… I know I will be adding these sites to the dead pile.
Phil
