This is an excellant question Soren... The number of pageviews is derrived from a formula based on the following:

Number of Hits remaining

Actual Hits Per Click returned (Always different than the TE advertised Click ratio)

Unique Hit percent since the last time I checked the TE statistics

Number of hits returned since the last time I checked the TE statistics

The Number of traffic exchanges I am currently testing

Keeping the total number of session Pageviews as close to 1300 clicks as I can (This seems to be a more managable amount of time)

And a Few other usability factors as well
