on February 16th, 2009 at 09:35This list of 10 Traffic Exchanges are here because it has been determined that they are more dead than a doornail. It is worth noting that while some of these Traffic Exchanges may still be in operation or available on the ‘Net I have found they are not worth using at all. Look, mistakes happen. I will never say I am perfect. If there is a Traffic Exchange listed above that you think should not be there then let me know about it. Post a comment on this blog and tell the world why the Traffic Exchange in question should not be included on the “Dead List.” Never know, you may convince me to start testing it again and that is a win/win for you. You bring more activity to the Traffic Exchange and by posting a comment here you will put your link on this blog.
Take Care,
Phil

Hi,
I use http://www.xtremehit.com almost everyday and I have fantastic results. I am not sure why you would put that site here. I think that you should look at it and review it. They are a very active site.
Bill Smailzers
Hello Bill;
The reason why Xtreme Hit is not being tested is because it is a Auto/Manual Click traffic exchange. There is one Traffic Exchange that has both an Auto and Manual component that I test. The owner of that TE is well known by me and I have known of the owner for quite some time.
I feel there is a big temptation (And I have proved it does happen) with combo TE’s for the owner to circulate manual hits in the auto side of the TE. Trust me, this happens more than you think.
One other item that I found interesting is this TE owner is hiding his or her identity behind a proxy Domain Registration RE:
As found by clicking the “Who Owns the Xtreme Hit domain link above.
For all I know it might be the same person that owns the jhselecthomes.com domain since this domain actually redirects to the Xtreme Hits domain. RE:
Either way, if it has an auto component and for sure if the owner hides behind a proxy domain registration then the owner doesn’t want me to use his Traffic Exchange.
Sorry, that is just how it goes… A traffic exchnge is a business if it is charging for any of its services. Businesses should not be hiding their identity or where they are located.
Take Care,
Phil
