2009-06-20 At 13:49:Barbarian Hits I just joined this TE. The signup process was crazy as all hell. Check this out…

First I wnet to the sign up form. Clicked submit. Then, after I waited for my confirmation e-mail for a while I clicked the link enclosed to confirm my desire to join the TE. But actually, what I was clicking was a link for my e-mail address to be placed on a AWeber mailing list. For those that do not know, AWeber is a mailing list wharehouse.

So, it appears that I just confirmed my desire to become a member of this TE, right? Not! I tried to get into the members area and my username and password didn’t work. ARGH! What I had to do is request my password again. Then I got another e-mail verrification link in an e=mail to confirm my desire of joining this site. LOL! I clicked that link and was then able to log into the TE.

What was the point? The TE owner thinks it is more important to place my e-mail address on a mailing list rather than dealing with the reason why I was joining the site. This is some crazy shit IMHO!

Well, after it is all said and done, I can now get on to the business of testing the TE. Oh, BTW, the e-mail from AWeber gets filtered to the trash can folder. A Total waste of resources but a necessary step to keep my inbox clean.

Let me know what you think! If there is something here you do or don’t agree with respond with a comment. Tell me about it!

Take Care,
Phil
