Traffic Exchange Exposed

And now for something completely different…

When I first saw this I thought it was funny in a strange sort of way. So, to propagate it a little bit further in the Internet I thought I would post an article here about it.

It appears that there is a USA Naval base located in Coronado CA. with a few strange looking buildings on its’ grounds. When somebody looks at it via Google Maps it looks like one of the buildings is shaped in the form of a Swastika. That is clear to whoever looks at the image.

But, what makes this even more thought provoking is the two buildings at the lower left of the Swastika shaped building. They look like two airplanes (enclosed in square brackets ie; []) flying toward the Swastika. This is about the coolest thing to go around the Internet in a while. This has been brought to light a few years ago but I just found it. Click on the image to see it in a new window and larger than shown here.

Anyway, the history behind this tells us the buildings were built a little bit after WWII. Did the designers of the buildings actually intend for them to look like this? I would say yes in a sort of in your face show of country patriotism. Who would have thought Google Maps would have come into existence 60 years later. (LOL!)

I love my country and everything about it! Even the strange things like this. There is no country better than the USA in my humble opinion…
