Hi,

I came across your site by chance and have a question.

On your first page you show Web Biz Insider for example as currently ranked No6 but when I click on Ranked TE's in the side menu from 0 - 114 it changes to No 1.

Is there a quick way to find the current top 20 at a glance without trawling thru all the TE's on the front page.

thanks for the info.

Hi Bill;

Thanks for adding your comments...

I figured it all sounded kind of hokey.

I wonder if Ted didn't get caught up in some sort of scam a third party is running. I guess it wouldn't be hard to phish a web page to look like one of yours and then do the scam.

Many people use "Multiple tabs" to surf TE's and tracing down the scammer would be hard if the user didn't try to break out of frames before making the purchase.

I hope Ted got things straightened out by now as this is almost a month later. Maybe he went to the payment processor to find out where his money went to. You didn't get it, for sure.

And to everybody reading these comments here. Let this be an example of how easy, if you are not careful, it is to get ripped off. Bill clearly states he didn't get the payment. Ted said he was sure the payment went to Hoopla. There is a disconnect somewhere. i would never call Bill or Ted liars. They both know the facts as they see them.

It looks like there was a third party involved in the transaction that wasn't the payment processor. Teds money went somewhere if it didn't go to Hoopla. At this point Ted should talk with the payment processor to see where it went to. Hopefully, there is still time to get the payment reversed.

Everybody needs to be careful in these hard economic times when making payments on the Internet. More and more people are looking to the Internet for the extra or primary income they need to exisit. This brings scammers along with those wanting to make an ethical income. Know who you are sending payments to and protect yourself from being like Ted.

I would never try to speak for Bill but, from what I know of him and Hoopla if you see some sort of deal you would like to purchase from Hoopla send Bill a e-mail or contact him on his blog to see if it was him that is making the offer. I feel he would still honor the deal if you didn't purchase it with the specific sales page where you saw the deal.

The reason why I say contact Bill first is because it looks like there is a scammer among us. Someone that needs to be found. Until then trust only what you know and what you have doubled checked. Bill is a good guy, he'll understand.

You don't want to end up like Ted trying to find out who actually got your money.

Take Care,
Phil

Admin - you are right, not anything we would do at Traffic Hoopla. Excellent customer service is a top priority here.

Ted contacted us on Dec 14, and I personally and immediately responded. We have no products/services at those prices, and no transactions of any kind from this person. Their message was short and vague, similar to what they posted here, and I asked for more info. They again demanded a refund, but provided no info of any kind, and there were no transactions from this person.

Manual Traffic Exchange with around 2200 members as of Dec 2010. I tried to make this site pleasing to the eye as well as easy to use and fun. Who says surfing has to be boring? You can choose to surf and chat or just surf. Free members get 3:1 ratio but with the prize pages and verification page bonuses they get better ratio in the end. They just need to actually surf and participate to get the bonuses. This is a Ventrino script but I've made a lot of changes so it is more custom and unique to me.

This doesn't sound like something they would do over there. I always imagined they were more customer service orientated. There seems to be something missing in the information chain for it to be going to the point of no refund.

If you paid with PayPal or another processor you can request your money to be refunded with the processor. Most if not all payment processors have a 30-day refund policy regardless of what the website refund policy states. It seems strange to me that they (Hoopla) will not give you a refund based on what you wrote.

Your post seems to indicate you talked with the admin over there and you got nowhere. If you didn't talk with the admin, I would do it ASAP. I am sure eveything can be put straight.

Good Luck!

Take Care,
Phil

I would think he would stop by just to comment on the reasons why my signup with his Traffic Exchange went bad - at least...
