Support E-Mail - Traffic Splash

I sent in a support request to Traffic Splash today. Here it is:

Hello;

I hope this note finds you and your doing well during this holiday season.

The reason why I am contacting you is because one of my programs, Traffic Exchange Exposed, has selected Traffic Splash as the recommended one month upgrade purchase for the issue 2007-11-18.

I logged in today to find that you do not offer one month upgrades. It appears that only subscriptions are available at this time.

I would like to purchase a one month upgrade without having to subscribe if I can.

Please advise…

Regards,
Phil

I’ll let everybody know what happens, if anything…

Phil

I got a response to my support request this morning. Here is what was written:

“Hi Phil, I’m great thanks, actually took a day off yesterday. Luxury :) how are you doing?

I can set you up with a paypal button if you’d like but I would rather not confuse my upgrade page by adding add in extra options. No one has ever asked before in the 11 months I’ve been online so I can’t imagine there is any great demand.

It is simple enough to cancel a sub if it is no longer required. I happily cancel anything for members who won’t learn how to use their own paypal account.

    cheers
    Paul”

I’ll assume that is a no? Maybe? Here is my response back for clairity sake:

    “Hello Again Paul.

So, what you are saying is that I can make the first payment via subscription, cancel it when confirmed and the upgrade is started, then cancel the subscription and still be upgraded for a month?

Sorry for the clarity request but business is business, correct?

FWIW, in the almost 15 years I’ve been on-line, paying for accounts has always been done on a monthly basis by me. I never did like all the auto-pay, auto-charge, subscription stuff - but that is just me. ;o) ;o)

Thanks in advance for the clarification Paul…

    Take Care,
    Phil”

I’ll see if I get a straight yes or no from this…

    I got my reply Back:

    “Hi Phil,
Yup, you stay upgraded for the full term whether your sub is cancelled or not. Working any other way wouldn’t sit comfortably with me.

And yeah, it is a little unusual not to use subs but we’ll see what the poll says. I’ve put the link in members home and it will be mentioned in emails. If there’s demand then obviously I’ll supply. Business is customers :)

    cheers
    Paul”

Looks like I’ll be upgrading in Traffic Splash today!

I did the upgrade and everything went flawless!

Overall customer support at Traffic Splash is in-between good and great!

I didn’t particularly like the little jabs in the responses…

To each his own, I say.

    Phil
