Suspended Account At Grand Slam Hits

This is really stupid…

I just got this e-mail from the admin at Grandslam Hits:

Hi MegaMan,

Thank you for being a member of Grandslam Hits! As you know the principal of our service is to exchange traffic between members. I have noticed that you have not been active lately and would like to encourage you to visit the exchange today and checkout what’s going on. We have competitions and special bonuses on offer and if you surf regularly you will receive more hits than those who don’t. Accounts not surfing for 30 days are deactivated until the account holder surfs again to continue receiving more hits.

Wanna surf now?

Kind Regards,

So, I log in and check my account at Grandslam Hits. Sure enough! My account is suspended. Well, here is the kicker! I have over 2200 hits assigned to my URL(s) just sitting there doing nothing. And even more so now that my account is suspended. There is no chance at all for me to get those hits delivered.

Does this make any sense at all? My Gawd, I was active enough at one time to acumulate the backlog of hits so why am I now being penalized for it?

Just Plain Ol’ Stupid!

I refuse to surf more before the hits are used up and the Admin suspends my account so the hits can’t be used up. ARRGH! Real good Traffic Exchange management man.

Take Care,
Phil

As a side note, I sent the admin the URL for this post and requested a comment or two about this issue. We’ll see if the admin really cares about how people are treated at Grand Slam Hits…

    You are absolutely correct!

Why should your sites or any other members sites not be displayed just because you have not surfed in 10, 20, or 30 days?

Your credits were earned and should be shown no matter when you surfed last.

I am now changing the 30 day requirement to 1 year. This will be plenty of time to use any hits a member may have.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

    John

    Hi John;

Thank you for changing the surfing requirements. I love “Exposing” great Traffic Exchange owners. You will, no doubt, go far with Grand Slam Hits given your ability to adjust what you do.

    Great Job…

    Thanks,
    Phil

    On another side note:

I just logged into my account at Grandslam Hits. I wanted to repay the Admin for his kindnss with an upgrade there. I found Grandslam Hits does not offer a one month upgrade but instead upgrades with subscriptions. Since I do not believe in starting subscriptions and then canceling them right away and prefer to just purchase a month at a time I had to pass on purchasing an upgrade.

    Sorry John,,,

    Take Care,
    Phil
